Around midday, the final stop is made at the Patapampa Viewpoint, located at 4,910 m.a.s.l., offering views of the Misti, Chachani, Sabancaya, and Ampato volcanoes. Here, you can also see the apachetas, small stone towers left by travelers as offerings to the gods to ensure a safe journey.
